We love finding out what is going on at our partner golf courses on Tee It Up Grand Strand.  This time we visit our friends at Diamondback Golf Club at Woodland Valley Country. Diamondback is set in the lowcountry woodlands just outside of North Myrtle Beach.  The golf course is a modern Russell Breeden design. This is a Par 72 layout measuring 6928 yards from the back tees.  There are strategically placed bunkers and lakes to allow for a fun and challenging round of golf.  It is the first golf course in the Myrtle Beach area to feature Jensen Ultra Dwarf greens. It is really a great place to enjoy a round of golf.

General Manager, Patrick Wilkenson and his staff strive to provide a welcoming, local feeling to all golfers that play Diamondback not matter where they are from.  They do offer golf memberships starting at just $299 a year for a single golfer and ranging up to $2,500 for a full family membership.  There is something for everyone that wants to become a part of the Diamondback family. All memberships at Diamondback Golf Club at Woodland Valley include some amazing benefits.  Members receive 20% discount on all golf shop items.  They also get 7 day advance booking of tee times, free range balls, access to a handicap service and leagues to play in.  A big part of the membership is the 20% discount in food and beverage (alcohol not included) in the bar and grill and on the golf course beverage cart as well. A membership at Diamondback is a tremendous value!

In addition to all we just mentioned, members at Diamondback Golf Club at Woodland Valley also receive an additional membership with the Platinum Member Card.  This includes discounted golf rates at over 20 additional area golf courses and a $100 gift card!  There is not a better value to be found anywhere in Myrtle Beach.  Members can bring 3 guests to round out their foursome and they receive a discounted guest rate as well.

The facilities on property are great.  Members and visiting golfers alike can take advantage of a large practice putting green and driving range both located directly behind the clubhouse and bag drop.  The clubhouse itself is a great place for golfers to hang out before and after the round.  A comfortable lounge and bar area complete with flatscreen TVs all around the seating area provide golfers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy some great food and cold drinks.
