The Myrtle Beach Golf community is very giving and on this edition of Tee It Up Grand Strand we take a look at one of the best courses in the area to hold a charity golf event. The International Club of Myrtle Beach provides not only a tremendous golf course and location to host a fundraising golf event but PGA Head Professional, Doug Donner and his staff will do a good bit of the work for the non-profit groups as well. They want to make it a stress free environment for the tournament coordinators and the volunteers that help make the event possible.
The International Club is a leader in the golf and tournament industry by providing a first-class facility and service while operating with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. The staff and management will provide services such as pre-loading the goodie bags and getting them on the carts, printing team pairing lists along with score cards and rule sheets. They also provide curbside greeting and bag valet, extra golf carts for staff and volunteers, placement and return of all signage and banners along with setting up the on-course contests and skill events on the course.
Doug and his staff will also provide some off course help as well. They will provide tables with skirts for registration and check in before the event as well as tables for prizes and raffle items if need be. They also provide all the tables for any food needs the group may have. Speaking of food The International Club will offer customizd food and beverage packages to accommodate the needs of the event. They also have the option for both indoor dining and/or outdoor seating for after the golf is done. They will even provide an outdoor barbecue grill with special menu and a portable bar to set up outside so the party can stay outside. The staff really wants to help the non-profit groups have an enjoyable time and raise a bunch of money for their causes. All of this shows that the International Club of Myrtle Beach is not only a first class golf course but the management and staff fun a first class operation as well. The commitment to the community is undeniable and is shown by not only what they are willing to do to help charity events host a successful event, but that they go out of their way to show how much they really care and are committed to the local non-profits.
