The Gene Hamm design has the reputation as one of the best conditioned courses on the beach.  The course winds its way through tall Carolina pines that shape each hole as golfers make their way around this classic track.  There are sparkling lakes and beautiful white sand traps that are found not only guarding greens but strategically located along some of the fairways.  When playing Beachwood, golfers do get a little bit of everything.

One thing golfers will not find at Beachwood Golf Club is homes.  That’s right.  There are no houses or condos or apartments built along this beautiful 180 acre facility.  No the course is not in the middle of nowhere.  It is conveniently located on Highway 17 in N. Myrtle Beach.  The ownership has simply stuck to its guns over the years and not allowed developers to build anything along the course.  Beachwood is like a golf oasis in the middle of a busy beach community!

The friendliness starts at the top at Beachwood.  General Manager, Kevin Lawson is always in the golf shop somewhere.  He is either checking golfers in at the pro shop or serving some of the best hot dogs you will find at a golf course.  (That is a direct quote from Kevin).  He eats, sleeps and breathes Beachwood.  His enthusiasm has definitely rubbed off on his staff.  Nothing but smiles and warm conversation will greet golfers the moment they walk onto the property.

The pro shop is fully stocked with a wide variety of golf apparel.  Hats and visors, polos and pullovers, shorts and pants.  Beachwood offers just about everything a golfer could want.  They even have shoes and clubs for sale in the shop.  All the apparel proudly shows the Beachwood logo.

To make a tee time or to get more information about the course visit the website at www.beachwoodgolf.com or call the pro shop at 843-272-6168.

Come play golf at Beachwood Golf Course where golfers are greeted with big smiles and tell Kevin we sent you.  Oh and don’t forget to get a hot dog or two at the turn!
